Elly De La Cruz records fastest home-to-home time in Reds history- 8/19/23 (62/105)

Cincinnati's Elly De La Cruz went from home to home in a mere 15.30 seconds, marking the fastest home-to-home time achieved by a Red in the Statcast era (since 2015) and the third-fastest home-to-home time in MLB this season. De La Cruz crushed a 1-2 changeup to right field, narrowly missing a home run. The ball took an awkward bounce off the wall as Blue Jay right fielder Cavan Biggio chased it down. Biggio threw the ball past both the cutoff man and the backup, creating an opening for De La Cruz. Seizing the moment, De La Cruz executed a decisive run to home plate, beating out a flip to catcher Alejandro Kirk.
