A native of Monterrey, Mexico, Daniel Suárez took one of the more unique paths to the Cup Series. Starting in the Mexico Series, Suárez saw early success and won the Xfinity Series Championship in 2016. In 2022, Suárez became the first Mexican-born Cup Series driver to win a race when he took the checkered flag at Sonoma. To go along with his Cup Series win, Suárez has 47 Top-10 finishes in 197 races.
