In November of 1972, Sylvester and his hot band performed back-to-back nights at the legendary Whisky A Go Go in Los Angeles. Sylvester was a trailblazer in his own right, as he shattered gender norms with his iconic falsetto voice, spanning genres from disco to blues and soul. It was during this engagement at the Whisky A Go Go that Sylvester was introduced to Reggie Dunnigan of the avant-garde drag group "The Black Cockettes." With this chance encounter, Sylvester joined forces with Dunnigan and brought his musical talent to new and exciting stages. Download the Hi-Res Digital Photograph [HERE](REDACTED)
