Throughout his 16-year career, all with the Boston Red Sox, Jim Rice, a feared slugger, made his mark as a left fielder. Hailing from Anderson, South Carolina, Rice compiled 2,452 H, 382 HR, 1,451 RBI, and a .298 BA. Known for his power hitting and run-producing ability, Rice was a key offensive player. An 8x All-Star and 1978 AL MVP, he was elected to the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 2009.
