In a 15-year career, Lou Boudreau, a player-manager and talented shortstop, left a lasting impact on baseball. From Harvey, Illinois, Boudreau tallied 1,779 H, 68 HR, 789 RBI, and a .295 BA. Known for his strategic mind and solid defense, Boudreau led the Cleveland Indians both on and off the field. An 8x All-Star and 1948 World Series champion, he was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1970.
