Facing the defending champion Braves, Greene blew a 100 mph fastball past Matt Olson for his first career strikeout—high heat that signaled the arrival of a new ace in Cincinnati. Since that debut, Greene has racked up over 500 strikeouts and earned his first All-Star selection in 2024 as a cornerstone of the Reds’ rotation.
