Interim manager, Phil Nevin, turned to his pitching coach and said, “He’s got that look, doesn’t he?” With the Angels struggling and without Mike Trout, Anthony Rendon, and Taylor Ward, Shohei Ohtani put on a great performance. He pitched seven innings of one-run, six strike out baseball. He also hit a two-run home run in the 5th inning.
