Duke Snider was the face of the Brooklyn Dodgers during their heyday. Sharing the New York spotlight with the Yankees’ Mickey Mantle, and the Giants’ Willie Mays, Snider roamed center field at Ebbets Field, leading Brooklyn to six National League pennants, and one more after moving to Los Angeles. He twice led the National League in slugging percentage, and finished his 18-year career with a career batting average of .295.
