Phil “Scooter” Rizzuto was the consummate champion. Over his 13-year career with the New York Yankees, Rizzuto won 10 American League pennants and eight World Series championships, including five in a row from 1949-1953. Scooter was named an All Star five times and won American League MVP in 1950.
