In a trailblazing 13-year career, Larry Doby, the first African-American player in the American League, made significant contributions as a center fielder. Hailing from Camden, South Carolina, Doby collected 1,687 H, 273 HR, 1,094 RBI, and a .287 BA. Known for breaking barriers and his powerful hitting, Doby was a key figure for the Cleveland Indians. A 9x All-Star and 2x World Series champion, he was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1998.
