On April 23, 2018, Gleyber Torres recorded his first Major League hit—a clean single up the middle off Tyler Kinley while playing for the New York Yankees against the Minnesota Twins. It was the first of what would become a steady stream of hits for the talented infielder. Now a two-time All-Star and a member of the Detroit Tigers, Torres has racked up over 900 career hits and continues to be a force at the plate.
