Gotham's Chinatown - District 3 for the Gotham City District Knightwatch - emerged in the late 1800s, pushing out Italian immigrants who had settled there in the middle of that century. Little Italy is still there, as are the gangs that grew to run the businesses of both areas, despite the City Council's best efforts to "tourist-ify" the area. The Vauxhall Center and Gotham Superior Courthouse are the most prominent symbol of that effort: two gigantic structures that stand dozens of feet higher than the slums that surround them. Those who wish to travel to the area should stick to routes that they know. The roads are winding, a fact that petty criminals of all backgrounds use to stalk their prey, just out of sight. This district sigil was granted to the first fans who answered Batman’s call and became members of the Gotham City District Knightwatch by purchasing their Bat Cowl between 26 April 2022 and 3 May 2022.
