Rick Wakeman(keyboard connoisseur) released his own albums in the 70's which established him as key figure in progressive rock. His success caught the attention of two bands, "Yes," and David Bowie's "Spiders from Mars." Albeit an uncredited feature on Bowie's song "It Ain't Easy," Wakeman ultimately joined 'Yes' because of the band's willingness to experiment with progressive music and take chances.
