In a remarkable 19-year career, Rod Carew, a master of hitting, demonstrated exceptional skill as a first baseman and second baseman. From Gatun, Panama, Carew racked up 3,053 H, 92 HR, 1,015 RBI, and a .328 BA. Known for his batting average and ability to hit in any situation, Carew was a perennial batting threat. A 18x All-Star, 1977 AL MVP, and 7x batting champion, he was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1991.
