With a background in BMX bike racing and go-karts, Michael McDowell has become a chiseled veteran in the Cup Series. Thirteen years after his first race, McDowell earned his first victory at the 2021 Daytona 500. With 28 Top-10 finishes in 411 career races, he’s always one to watch at superspeedways and road courses. In 2022, McDowell finished third at Sonoma and Talladega, sixth at Watkins Glen, and seventh at the Daytona 500.
