Gavin Lux wasted no time announcing his arrival. On September 2, 2019, he lined the very first Major League pitch he saw into center field for a single off Pete Lambert, notching his first hit as a member of the Los Angeles Dodgers against the Colorado Rockies. Since that debut moment, Lux has gone on to win a World Series with the Dodgers in 2024 and now continues his big league career with the Cincinnati Reds.
