2025 Inaugural Mark
Carson Williams - First Hit (53/99)
MLB
After climbing the prospect ranks as Tampa Bay’s No. 1 prospect, 22-year-old Carson Williams broke through to the big leagues with his highly anticipated debut. The slick-fielding shortstop made his presence felt right away, knocking in his first run with his first big league hit — a single that extended the Rays’ lead to 4-1 against the Cardinals. At Triple-A Durham, Williams showcased his blend of power and defense, posting 23 home runs and 55 RBI despite a .213 batting average. With Williams now in the fold, the Rays add another cornerstone talent to a roster looking to be a competitor in the AL East for years to come.
