Willie “Stretch” McCovey was an imposing left-handed power hitter during his 22-year career. With 521 career home runs, McCovey formed one of the most feared lineups during his time playing alongside Willie Mays in San Francisco. McCovey was the 1959 National League Rookie of the Year, the 1969 NL MVP, and 1977 Comeback Player of the Year.
